How does this work?

 Maple Leaf Education offers candidates the opportunity to study a practical 1-year Teachers College program in the UK. You'll become a certified UK teacher, and we'll help you transfer that certification to Canada. We guide you through this process, and many Canadians like Victoria and Liam have done it successfully. 

How long does it take to get certified in Ontario after the completion of Teachers College?

From when you graduate from the Teachers College in the UK,  it takes approximately 3 months to complete the Canadian teacher certification process. Newly qualified teachers will also have the opportunity to teach in the UK for up two to years on a Youth Mobility Work Visa since you are fully qualified as a teacher in the UK.

How much does it cost?

Maple Leaf Education charges a small one-time fee for our services, less than the application cost of applying to a Canadian University. Once you are applied and accepted, you can expect to pay between about £14,000 and £16,000 (pounds) in tuition, plus living costs for the year in the United Kingdom. OSAP is available for Ontario residents.
